Tuesday, March 25, 2003Off to a good start?Well I'm really doing well in keeping up with this eh? Not. I won't try to justify the lack of updates because it's the usual bullshit anyway - busy at work, other projects going, etc etc. But I've not forgotten this. And I have been refining the story somewhat in my head. I have the makings of the opening lines in my head - I would like to start with some kind of children's taunt, you know? The kind of sing-song rhyme kids do... Something like this: "Mary, Mary is quite scary." And I'm blanking on it now.. But I had an image of kids jump-roping as Mary passes them on the playground and they change their jump song to something mean-spirited as she walks by all hunched up and doing her best to turn herself invisible.
