The following is a silly conversation I just had with Shannon about cheese.<\/p>\n
Melia: Hey, when did you buy my cheese?<\/p>\n
Shannon: *blink*<\/p>\n
Melia: Well, I thought I still had some cheese left but I couldn’t find it and I can’t remember if I ate the last of the cheese.<\/p>\n
Shannon: *blink*<\/p>\n
Melia: You were the one who bought the cheese for me. I thought if I knew when you bought it I could work out whether there should still be some in the refrigerator.<\/p>\n
Shannon: I have no idea what you’re talking about.<\/p>\n
Melia: *sigh* I ate dinner early tonight and I was feeling munchy. So I went to look for the cheese sticks –<\/p>\n
Shannon: OOOOHHHHH the sticks. Yeah I bought those on Wednesday after school, remember?<\/p>\n
Melia: Oh. Hmm. *Does mental calculations… If I take 2 sticks a day to work and there are 6 sticks in the bag, And there were only two workdays left in the week, I should still have two sticks left!* I should still have two sticks – oh wait. Damn. I had two sticks the night you bought them.\u00a0 So… no cheese.<\/p>\n
Shannon: *Giggling* You are so weird.<\/p>\n
Melia: You want to hear something weirder – well, funnier anyway?<\/p>\n
Shannon: *Laughing* Always.<\/p>\n
Melia: You know how I was complaining when you bought that cheese that you bought the sticks that are hard to open – the ones I’ve been bitching about on Twitter?<\/p>\n
Shannon: Yes.<\/p>\n
Melia: I found out why they were so hard to open.<\/p>\n
Shannon: Why?<\/p>\n
Melia: You know how they come in a bag? Well, I used scissors to open the bag. And I cut the tops off the easy-to-pull tabs only I didn’t know it.<\/p>\n
Shannon: *falls off the bed laughing*<\/p>\n
Melia: This whole time I’ve been mad at the cheese and it was innocent. I feel bad now.<\/p>\n
