I spend a lot of time online and have done for years and over that time many happy, sad, odd, nasty, fantastic things have happened to me online and off. This blog is about all of that and more.
Hey thanks for checking out my little blog. A bit about me: I'm a web designer for a Catholic Hospital
in Nebraska. I love my job and it's allowed me to learn so much about design and code etc etc. all at their expense, not mine, hehehe.
I have a daughter, she's nearly 12 and the pride of my life. You can check out her website at Sweetiepete.com.
She loves it when people sign her guestbook :) That's enough for this space. If you want to know more, read the blogs! :)
Okay. A quick blog just so no one thinks I've given up already. I've just been very very busy these past few days. My aunt was let out of the hospital (hooray!) and the grandparents took me out for a bday lunch saturday. Then on Sunday my daughter made me brekkie in bed (awwww) for my bday. And then it was a Star Wars marathon for us both because we're great fans of the series and can't wait to go see it Thursday.
I did spend a little time dealing with a weirdo Brian obssessive. Dealt with a slew of 'you're pathetic, you don't know anything' PMs (Private messages) from her all because I told her off for berating some poor user who had a great experience of getting to share a plane with the lead singer of the band - She likes to think it's her place to tell people how to behave around him. It's terribly easy to hide behind a computerthough isn't it? Her last one said 'Ishould pop in to eh Silver Rocket chat' knowing I hang out there. She has a self-professed fear of chatrooms so I thought, well cool, she should take that first step and pop in there. We can have a 'talk' then. So I checked all day today and not a sign of her :) Just as I suspected.
Anyway so that was a little black cloud on my birthday but no big deal. An afternoon of Star Wars soon made it all better. Yes I am a geek. Speaking of geekdom, I'm off for an early bedtime. goodnight!
