I spend a lot of time online and have done for years and over that time many happy, sad, odd, nasty, fantastic things have happened to me online and off. This blog is about all of that and more.

Hey thanks for checking out my little blog. A bit about me: I'm a web designer for a Catholic Hospital in Nebraska. I love my job and it's allowed me to learn so much about design and code etc etc. all at their expense, not mine, hehehe. I have a daughter, she's nearly 12 and the pride of my life. You can check out her website at Sweetiepete.com. She loves it when people sign her guestbook :) That's enough for this space. If you want to know more, read the blogs! :)

Hmmm been a while again, sorry. Amazing how much can happen in one month. My favourite (and only) aunt finally lost her 15 year battle with cancer. It was very sad, but also uplifting in a weird sort of way. She fought hard and she won in the end. I didn't think that at first but someone helped me see how fabulous she did and how determined she was to live life on her own terms and not let the cancer beat her. When she was first diagnosed in 1987, she was told she had a year at the most left. 15 years later she was able to finally say, "I'm tired, it's time for me to go now." She lived long enough to see her first grandchild and love him to bits. And she was like a second grandma to my daughter, always inviting her over to stay the night or weekend and do all sorts of fun things. An amazing woman indeed.

Let's see.. oh my beloved Placebo forum is gone for good for reasons I won't go into. Silver Rocket is still around so that's something at least. I'd hate to lose touch with the friends I've made there. The girl from TCZ who began the group blog there decided to yank it out from under everyone without telling us, so that was lovely. Seems like I've lost a lot of things this month that were important to me. But after Judy, I'm not all that bothered by the rest. I'll miss it, and I'm annoyed but life's too short to kick up a fuss. Less wankers to deal with this way :)

I did get to see my sister. The crazy kid drove 25 hours, 1900 miles by herself from California to be here for my aunt. She didn't make it in time :( but everyone was really glad that she came. She looks good - Cali agrees with her, even if she doesn't agree with it :) She's now off to Scotland on Monday for a class reunion with her mates there. Wish I was going.

Not talking much about Life Online am I? Sorry. I've not been online much frankly. Just on to check emails and fiddle around TCZ for a while. Maybe sometime I'll talk about what happened with the forums but right now I just can't be arsed. So anyway, I'm logging off. Take care :)
