I spend a lot of time online and have done for years and over that time many happy, sad, odd, nasty, fantastic things have happened to me online and off. This blog is about all of that and more.

Hey thanks for checking out my little blog. A bit about me: I'm a web designer for a Catholic Hospital in Nebraska. I love my job and it's allowed me to learn so much about design and code etc etc. all at their expense, not mine, hehehe. I have a daughter, she's nearly 12 and the pride of my life. You can check out her website at Sweetiepete.com. She loves it when people sign her guestbook :) That's enough for this space. If you want to know more, read the blogs! :)

Please save me from myself. I just bought a replica of Sting, Frodo's sword used in the movie from Ebay. Not the mega-expensive one mind you. Just a cheap knockoff, but a sword (well for Hobbit-sized people anyway) nonetheless. I feel a bit silly about it, but I'm also kind of chuffed to have it. I love film memorabilia - cheap knockoff or otherwise - and would love to start a collection of my own with props and replicas and all that. So I'm starting off small for now but someday I hope to have a nice array of things. And Ebay is going to be the bane of my existence I can tell.

Hmmm. I've just been told I'm a game addiction freak on TCZ and I'm not allowed to help test a new one because I'd never leave the place. *phhhhbts* to them. Geez, you win TCZ Bingo 9 times and they think you're an addict. :D hehehe. I see how they are.

I bought my daughter's birthday present yesterday. Her birthday's not until July and I have no idea how I'm going to keep it a secret that long but I'll just have to manage. I figured that since the store was having such a good sale on mountain bikes, and I have some extra cash right now, I'd just get her one and hide it at the grandparent's until her big 1-2. She really needs a new bike anyway. Her old one is a kids bike that has girly streamers on the handlebars and her poor knees whack against them all the time. She's going to be an 'official pre-teen' in July, and has to look the part :) *sigh* They grow so fast.

Think I'll sign off for now. Need to get to work on my new freelance site :D Cheerio.
